Enjoying the reps? The full gym has 610 prompts and keeps every rep you do. It is part of ThinkWell4Life, where each skill is taught in full and paired with the habit that makes it stick.
See ThinkWell4LifeThe prompts come from ThinkWell’s Think Wellness application, written for the LearnWell programme by the EquipU4 team at Stellenbosch University, Dr Ludolph Botha, Professor Charl Cilliers and Dr Alten du Plessis. Each skill is applied to six areas of life: physical, emotional, intellectual, occupational, social and spiritual, the six dimensions of wellness described by Bill Hettler (1980). This free gym has seventeen of the nineteen skills, with two prompts for every skill and area. The full gym, in the ThinkWell4Life course, has 610.
✍️ From the founder on the Practice Gym
You learn nineteen practical skills, from weighing pros, cons and alternatives and taking all information into account to planning, decision-making and problem-solving, each with its own image to remember it by. Every skill is paired with the habit of mind that makes you use it when it matters, and grown with stretch, feedback and effective effort. You practise each one on a real situation from your own life, take a check-in on sixteen thinking habits at the start and the end, and finish with one whole undertaking of your own that uses the full toolkit.
