You Be Mindful Too is for students and anyone learning who wants a steadier, more present way through a full timetable: before a lecture, between deadlines, the evening before a test. No meditation experience is needed; the page is written for beginners and for those who already practise.
It draws on research on mindfulness-based approaches to stress and wellbeing. It helps you practise present-moment awareness, noticing without judging, acceptance, letting go, kindness and gratitude. It is a resource for inspiration and reflection, not a treatment, and it works alongside a mindfulness course or professional support rather than replacing them.
Inside are two PDFs, both with your name on every page: a printable deck of A4 cards and a matching ebook. The cards follow dimensions of mindful living, among them Present Moment Awareness, Non-Judgmental Observation, Breath Awareness, Body Awareness, Emotional Awareness, Letting Go, Compassion, Gratitude and Peace. Each card has a theme, a short description and an image on the front, and on the back a set of quotes from many voices and wisdom traditions, with room for your own notes. The ebook holds the same wisdom as a flowing book, to read on a tablet or phone or to print and bind.
The page sketches a simple daily practice, and I suggest you begin there with the Present Moment Awareness cards. In the morning, draw one card, read one quote and sit with it for two or three minutes. Keep it in mind through the day's study, and in the evening write a few lines on the card about where it showed up.
